Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) is widely recognized as one of the top private engineering colleges in Kolkata, affiliated with West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development offers Three years Diploma Degree and Two years DIPLOMA VOCLET Degree since 2015 in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETCE).

Hi, I’m Sahil Mondal — 2021 Diploma (Electrical) pass-out from GNIT. During the pandemic times when jobs were scarce, I pursued B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and proudly graduated in 2024 from the same institute. Today, I’m proud to share that I’ve started my career at Accenture as an ASE. A heartfelt thanks to my HOD, my teachers, and GNIT for guiding me and helping me reach this milestone.

Being a student of the Electrical Engineering department, it was a dream to be placed as an core Engineer. During the journey, my department itself encouraged me to enrich my knowledge and enhanced my skill sets. The hands-on training and lab classes gave clarity to complex topics on relevant subjects. Along with two friends, we had published a paper in IEEE conference. This initiative seeded a researcher mentality inside me. The best thing about the department is the faculty members are always available. Sometimes our research works were extended beyond the class hours.

I completed my Diploma in 2021 and pursued my Bachelor's degree at GNIT, which led me to my current role at TCS. Heartfelt thanks to the GNIT Placement Department and all the ECE faculty for their constant support and guidance.

I would like to convey my regards to the college along with my department faculties. I would like to show my heartfelt gratitude towards my teachers for guiding me to this success. From teaching me to advising me on academic matters and life, teachers were always beside me. Our college has an amazing campus full of greeneries and very helpful, approachable faculties who give their best in teaching. When job opportunities were limited during the pandemic, I decided to pursue my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and proudly graduated in 2024 from GNIT. I'm thrilled to share that I’ve embarked on an exciting new journey as an Electrical Engineer (Officer) in Merchant Navy! A huge thank you to my HOD ma’am, my respected teachers, and GNIT for their incredible support and guidance in helping me achieve this milestone.
